The Royal Floor Lamp,ÿoriginally designed in 1956 by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, is available now through Santa & Cole. The Royal combines a polished Stainless-steel stem and an elliptical linen shade. The stem is off-center on its cast-iron base. The interior of the shade is lit by two bulbs, one pointing up, and the other, down. Each can be turned on and off independently. Santa & Cole is located in Barcelona Spain. It received the distinction of adhering to strict environmental and socioeconomic standards by the Forest Stewardship Council.
